Hi, I’m LeighAnn — though most people call me Leigh (pronounced “Lee”). I’m an American photographer based in the French-speaking region of Switzerland, specializing in elegant weddings, intimate celebrations, and heartfelt family photography across Europe.
Originally from Southern California, I now live in the Swiss Alps with my British husband, our daughter, and a very lazy cat. My work blends an editorial eye with a calm, documentary approach, creating images that feel both refined and deeply personal.
My photography is a balance of documentary storytelling and editorial curation. I’m passionate about capturing genuine emotion, meaningful connection, and the fleeting in-between moments that make each wedding unique, while also gently guiding couples in a way that feels natural, effortless, and true to them.
Long before photography became my profession, I was drawn to storytelling through images. What began with film photography and darkroom classes as a teenager eventually evolved into a passion for documenting real connection, emotion, and the moments that matter most.
Before becoming a wedding photographer, I worked as a pediatric intensive care nurse — an experience that shaped the way I approach weddings and people today. I bring a grounded, reassuring presence to the day, allowing couples to feel fully present while I quietly and expertly document everything unfolding around them.
I want my couples to feel comfortable, cared for, and truly themselves in front of my camera. My goal is not only to create beautiful images, but to offer an experience that feels relaxed, intentional, and enjoyable from beginning to end.

I’ve lived in multiple countries, and even planned my own wedding here in Switzerland, so I understand the excitement (and the occasional chaos!) that comes with orchestrating the perfect day.

I’m the person your guests and parents will love, blending seamlessly into the background or stepping in with confidence to get those unforgettable shots. Communication is my superpower—I’m approachable, always reachable, and ready to iron out even the tiniest of details so that on your big day, the only thing you’ll have to worry about is whether you’ve remembered your vows!
