Pearls, Pavlova, and Pure Magic: A Heartfelt Hotel Bad Murtensee Wedding in Switzerland

A Day Dripping in Style and Sentiment


The bride’s look set the tone for the entire day — a custom gown delicately covered in pearls, lovingly handmade by her mum. Every bead shimmered in the Swiss sunlight, capturing the couple’s timeless style and emotional connection. Paired with a sleek bouquet of white blooms and a veil dotted with tiny pearls, the effect was breathtaking.

The groom looked equally dashing in a classic navy tuxedo, exuding sophistication and ease. Together, they turned heads as they strolled through the cobblestone streets of Murten, framed by the town’s medieval charm and the stunning clock tower backdrop.


From heartfelt vows to laughter-filled speeches and spontaneous musical moments (including an unexpected performance by the groom’s dad), the day overflowed with emotion and energy.

The Heart of the Celebration

The ceremony was held at the Katholische Kirche Murten and the cocktail hour and reception were hosted at the elegant Hotel Bad Murtensee, where lakeside views and golden-hour light created an atmosphere that was both romantic and refined.

Guests were welcomed to aperitif with a live jazz band. The entire event was designed and coordinated by Daria Events & Weddings, with many personal touches for the couple, like a cigar bar and signature cocktails.


For the reception, a single, long, candlelit banquet table welcomed guests, combining modern luxury with artistic flair. The tablescape featured rich hues of red and magenta florals by Fleurel Suisse complemented by slender candles, dripping with pearls and cherries, and a warm glow that filled the room with intimacy.

The Sweetest Ending

Just when everyone thought the night couldn’t get any better, the dessert appeared: a show-stopping raspberry pavlova by @leplasir.ch. Larger than life, and covered in ripe berries, it became an instant centerpiece — and the perfect symbol of this couple’s vibrant, joyful spirit.
