Nestled in the breathtaking landscapes of Valais, Switzerland, I had the immense pleasure of capturing a truly memorable wedding at a stunning, historic hilltop church in Saillon. This enchanting venue, rich with character and charm, provided the perfect backdrop for the love story of an incredible couple.

A Magical First Look in the Vineyards of Valais

They shared an intimate first look in Vigne de Farinet, a location they hold dear, as it is where they shared their first kiss, and later created many memories, especially with their daughter, Léane, by their side. Perhaps it was meant to be that I photographed their wedding; I share the same name as their daughter, an extraordinary coincidence! The vineyards, with their rolling hills and vibrant greenery, served as the ideal setting for this special moment, encapsulating the beauty of their love.

An Evening of Celebration at Hotel Chalet Royal Veysonnaz, Switzerland

Following the ceremony, the couple and their guests ventured to the charming and grand Hotel Chalet Royal Veysonnaz. Perched on the mountainside, this venue offers breathtaking views of the valley and dramatic mountain landscapes, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. This property is perfect for a luxury wedding, combining outdoor beauty and traditional Swiss architecture, with upscale amenities for a memorable experience. It offers both relaxation and adventure, set against the dramatic alpine landscape of Veysonnaz.

The cocktail hour featured a spectacular entrance, and later followed by a lively flash mob from the guests. The couple later showcased choreographed dance moves, donned with their hiking backpacks, bringing home the travel theme of the wedding and it's decor. There were loads of little personal touches such as luggage tags for the escort cards. Entertainment and games continued and were sprinkled throughout the evening, filling it with energy and good vibes, ensuring there was never a dull moment. The wedding was filled with heartfelt tributes, making it a day that resonated deeply with everyone present.
